Waskita Peduli On Tuesday (7/12), provided scholarships to male and female students who are members of the Jambi Provincial Police. Through this activity initiated by the Ministry of SOEs, Waskita is one of the SOEs participating in educational scholarship assistance activities for 2,500 TNI and POLRI sons and daughters throughout Indonesia in Jambi. Waskita has contributed to providing scholarships for 17 outstanding sons and daughters from the Jambi Regional Police.
The Distribution of scholarships was carried out symbolically simultaneously in 33 Provinces in Indonesia, attended by the Head of Social and Environment Responsibility Unit of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, Mrs. Poppy Sukmawati accompanied by Project Manager Jambi Sewer System B2 Waskita. Ladies and Gentlemen, handed over scholarship assistance to the Head of the Satwapres Bureau of the Regional Police HR Bureau Jambi Province, AKBP Ahyar represented by Kompol Mr. Sumandar.
This program is in line with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs to focus on assistance programs in the field of education, Besides that, this program is also following the company's goal to contribute to channeling aid guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This assistance is proof of Waskita's real presence in society to improve better education.
