PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk manifests its concern for health management. It was proven by assisting in the form of an ambulance to the Kwartir Scout Movement Branch of Semarang City, Central Java. This ambulance worth IDR 300 million was provided through the help of Waskita Peduli. The assistance was received by the Mayor of Semarang Hevearita G Rahayu as the coach of the Scout movement.
SVP Corporate Secretary of the Company with stock code WSKT Novianto Ari Nugroho said that this assistance was a form of concern for the Company through the Waskita Cares program. Novianto hopes that this Ambulance can be put to good use.
"The provision of this ambulance through the Waskita Cares program to the Kwartir Scout Movement of the Semarang City Branch, Central Java is expected to help provide treatment for residents," said Novianto.
Novianto said, apart from caring about health, TJSL also cares about environmental sustainability. One of them is evidenced by the provision of assistance with plastic waste processing equipment to the RW 11 Garbage Bank, Cipinang Cempedak Village
At that time, this assistance was handed over directly by the Director of Human Capital Management & System Development of the Company, Mursyid, to the Head of RW 11 Misbah. Novianto explained that this tool aims to chop various types of non-organic waste.
"A plastic waste chopping machine is a waste processing machine that functions to chop various types of non-organic waste, especially plastic bottle waste so that it has a higher economic value when compared to untreated plastic bottles. This machine can later be used to facilitate the activities of the Widuri Garbage Bank group in managing waste in the surrounding environment," said Novianto.
