Welcoming 2023, This Is Waskita's Challenge Ahead: Reach NKB IDR 26 T

Entering 2023, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk continues to strive to increase revenue. One of them, this year is targeted that Waskita's NKB (New Contract Value) could reach IDR 26 trillion, higher than in 2022.

During 2022, the Company with the stock code WSKT continues to pursue new contract values from the National Capital (IKN). In this IKN project, the Company with the stock code WSKT won the IKN Toll Road Project for the Simpang Tempadung – Balang Island Bridge segment and the construction of the IKN Work/Logistics Road in the Government Central Core Area (KIPP) the Sepaku Ring Road Development Package Segment 4.

Then, the Company won the construction of the Presidential Secretariat Building and supporting buildings in the Presidential Palace Area of the State Capital. Then the Company also won the Waste Water Treatment Installation (IPAL) construction project at KIPP IKN.

Not only that, last year, the Company got a work project at Patimban Port which is located in Subang Regency, West Java, and then the Company carried out a Toll Road strategic partnership on the Cimanggis-Cibitung (CCT), Kanci-Pejagan (SMR) and Pejagan Toll Road sections. - Pemalang (PPTR).

So at the end of the year or in December 2022, the Company managed to record a New Contract Value (NKB) of IDR 20.23 trillion. President Director of the Company Destiawan Soewardjono explained, the Company will continue to target projects selectively and the funding will continue in 2023.

"Alhamdulillah, we are in 2022 getting many prestigious projects, for example, the project to support the smooth running of the G20 Summit and the construction of the Patimban Pier that payment system is no longer turnkey. Of course, in terms of cash flow, it is more secure and more feasible," said Destiawan Soewardjono.

"Starting in December 2022, the Company has succeeded in obtaining a New Contract Value (NKB) with a total of IDR 20.23 Trillion until the end of 2022. All of this is due to support from The government and the ability and hard work of the Waskita Karya team," he said.

Destiawan then explained, for 2023, the Company has a big challenge, namely targeting an NKB of IDR 20-25 trillion plus the remaining contract value from last year. Then for operating income, the Company is targeting IDR 20-21 trillion, an increase of around 42.60 percent from 2022.

"We hope that entering 2023, The Company will be able to obtain projects that are not only prestigious but also profitable and sustainable for the Company's financial performance in the future. The Company's 2023 performance target is also quite realistic and not grandiose so, It is hoped that it can be achieved according to plan. The most important thing is that It is following GCG and Risk," said Destiawan Soewardjono.

"We also really hope that this year, the Company will receive an additional PMN of IDR 3 Trillion, through the rights issue process which was delayed yesterday with additional public participation. So, we need the support of all parties, especially the government so that The expectations of the Company can be achieved this year," he said.
