Waskita Peduli through its Social and Environment Responsibility (SER) Unit, has completed the construction and construction of clean water facilities in the form of drilled wells and water towers at 12 points in the BogorCiawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road project area, namely in Cicurug District, Parungkuda District and Ciambar District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. This program is in line with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs to focus on aid programs in the environmental sector, besides that this program is also following the company's goal to contribute to channeling aid guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Present at the event, the Head of the SER Unit, Mrs. Poppy Sukmawati, along with the SER team and accompanied by the Ciawi – Sukabumi Section 2 Toll Road Project Team and the head of RW 09 Purwasari Village, Mr. Mulyadi as a local community leader.
The 12 points are:
- Kampung Ciwarung, Desa Cibunar Jaya, Kecamatan Ciambar
- Kampung Neglasari, Desa Cibunar Jaya, Kecamatan Ciambar
- Kampung Babakan Gobang, Desa Cibunar Jaya, Kecamatan Ciambar
- Kampung Hanjuang, Desa Naggeranf, Kecamatan Ciambar
- Kampung Babakan, Desa Naggerang, Kecamatan Cicurug
- Kampung Kebon Kawung Naggerang, Kecamatan Cicurug
- Kampung Pabrik Aci, Desa Tenjo Ayu, Kecamatan Cicurug
- Kampung Nanggerang, Desa Nanggerang, Kecamatan Cicurug
- Kampung Kute, Desa Tenjoayu, Kecamatan Cicurug
- Kampung Pojok Sari, Desa Purwasari, Kecamatan Cicurug

"Hopefully, with the inauguration of this aid, the community can use and maintain it optimally to support the fulfillment of the need for water resources", said Mrs. Poppy in his remarks at the handover event.
Waskita as one of the SOEs besides being obliged to build infrastructure also has a role in the community through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program through the Waskita Peduli program, which consistently and continuously helps the community, especially around the company's operational areas. In addition, Waskita is also committed to increasing social and environmental concerns from the company to the community. This assistance is proof of the real presence of BUMN amid society to improve the quality of life of the community for the better.
