Jakarta, 7 November 2022, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. (Stock Code: WSKT) again won a new project contract in the National Capital City (IKN). This time the project to be built is the Presidential Secretariat Building and Supporting Buildings in the Presidential Palace Area of the State Capital with a total contract value of IDR 1.35 trillion.
With the winning of the tender for the Presidential Secretariat Building and Supporting Buildings in the Presidential Palace Area, so far Waskita has won the IKN project tender with a total contract value of Rp2.55 trillion. Previously, Waskita has also won 2 project tenders, namely the IKN Toll Road Project for the Simpang Tempadung - Balang Island Bridge valued at Rp. 182 billion.
The Company's SVP Corporate Secretary, Novianto Ari Nugroho said that Waskita was proud of The Acquisition of the Presidential Secretariat Building Construction project at IKN. "The Company will mobilize all the best resources it has to complete this project properly. From the experience that the Company has, we are confident that we can carry out this project with the right quality and on time according to what is stated in the contract," he said.
Novianto added that in its implementation later, The Company does not only pursue revenue targets but also maintains The Trust that has been given by the Government and service users by paying attention and prioritizing safety and environmental aspects.
This project has been planned to be built on a land area of 50,678 m2 and a building area of 33,312 m2. It is divided into three buildings, They are the Presidential Secretariat, Paspampres Mess, and Supporting Buildings. This development requires a construction time of 720 calendar days and the target of completing the work by the end of 2024.
