On Thursday (21/10) morning, the President Director of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. Destiawan Soewardjono and Director of Operation II Bambang Rianto carried out a Management Walkthrough to the Cimanggis – Cibitung Toll Road Project Section II. This Management Walkthrough was also accompanied by the President Director of CCTW Thorry Hendarto, SVP Infrastructure II Sugiharto, GM Construction Division, and Waskita Beton Precast Modular Installation Slamet Fakih, Section II CCTW Project Manager Arief Lukmansyah.
President Director Destiawan Soewardjono revealed that the MWT visit at this time was to ensure that projects funded by PMN began to be active again and that their completion was on target and that the implementation of the transformation program was running. "The Transformation Program at the project level has been running by the direction and what has been set by Management that we must carry out a transformation because it follows future business developments and Waskita Karya's financial improvement and health program," said Destiawan.
President Director Destiawan Soewardjono also hopes that The Program can be implemented consistently to accelerate Waskita's financial recovery. "The Section II CCTW Project Team has good programs and innovations. It's just a matter of How to implement them consistently, and more important is the spirit to fight to restore Waskita Karya's performance," continued Destiawan.
Detiawan hopes that the Section II CCTW Project includes the 8 Streams of Waskita Financial Restructuring strategy so that a Strong commitment from the project team is needed so that this project can properly be completed, the function immediately, and can be divested as quickly as possible. Setiawan gave direct encouragement to the project team to work hard and fight for the smooth completion of the Section II CCTW Project.
At the same time, the Director of Operation II Bambang Rianto revealed that this Management Walkthrough was very beneficial for the project. Management Walkthrough has Four functions. Three of them are planning and realizing it according to plan. Actuating is a function to move if something is still slow, opportunities that have not been done. We must know what the obstacles are so that management can eliminate them so that the project runs smoothly again. The controlling of function is to see the realization related to quality, HSE, cost, and time so that management knows exactly, and can go directly to the field to provide directions and decisions," said Bambang Rianto.
Bambang Rianto explained, that Management Walkthrough has become an inherent culture in Waskita Karya, and even cross audits are often carried out, namely other Directors of Operations conduct MWT on projects that are not within their scope, their function is as a counterweight and proof that we carry out transparency and accountability. Bambang also advised the project team to maintain strict health protocols, bounce back from the Pandemic period that hampered work, and complete short-term and long-term targets. Hopefully the completion of the section II section from Jatikarya to Cikeas can be completed before Eid so that it can be useful for the surrounding community for the Functional route before the holiday," said Bambang Rianto.
"Our current focus is not growing bigger, but towards growing better to achieve balance and sustainability goals," continued Bambang Rianto. Bambang directly encouraged the project team to work diligently, work hard and remember the Almighty because without it there would be no meaning.
There are Eight streams of Waskita's restructuring, including Core Divestment, Bond and Tribal Loan Guarantee, Restructuring of Waskita Parent, Restructuring of Subsidiaries, Completion of Special Toll Roads, PMN (State Equity Participation), Business Restructuring, and Implementation of Governance and Risk Management.
