PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk as a developer and contractor has completed the 31.30 kilometer Pasuruan - Probolinggo (Paspro) Toll Road project. The Trans Java toll road, which is a National Strategic Project (PSN), was officially inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, today (10/4) at the East Probolinggo Toll Gate, East Java.

For information, the Pasuruan - Probolinggo Toll Road Project was obtained by Waskita in 2016 with a contract value of Rp 2.9 trillion. Pasuruan - Probolinggo Toll Road has 3 (three) Toll Gates (GT). Namely GT Tongas, GT Probolinggo Barat and GT Probolinggo Timur. Previously, the Paspro toll road was functionally opened during the Christmas and New Year 2019 holiday period. Work on the toll road project began in May 2016 and was completed in December 2018.

Also present at the inauguration ceremony was President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo accompanied by SOE Minister Rini M. Soemarno, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency, Danang Parikesit Ministry, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, President Director of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk I Gusti Ngurah Putra, Director of Finance & Strategy of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk Haris Gunawan, Managing Director of PT Waskita Toll Road Herwidiakto, SVP Infrastructure 3 Division of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk Aris Mujiono, and VP Infrastructure 3 Division of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk Norman Hidayat.
