Digitization is a necessity. Therefore, in line with the transformation that is being launched, Waskita signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency (BSSN RI) last Wednesday (5/5) at the Waskita Heritage Building, Jakarta.

This signing was carried out to realize work effectiveness related to accelerating digital transformation in encouraging effective and efficient business processes in the Waskita environment.

The signing was carried out by the President Director of PT. Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, Destiawan Soewardjono and the Head of BSSN RI Hinsa Siburian. This cooperation certainly opens up the potential and is an effort that is also a manifestation of one of the Government policies, namely to ensure the security of Waskita's information systems and electronic transactions.

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the implementation of the mandate of Government Regulation Number 71 of 2019. In this regulation, Electronic System Operators are required to carry out their Electronic Systems reliably and responsibly. Therefore, in order for Waskita's performance to remain good despite workspace restrictions, it is necessary to facilitate e-signing of important documents.

This declaration also made Waskita be the first BUMN Karya to use the e-sign from BSSN as a means of supporting new custom activities and the process of accelerating administration.
