Ahead of the Test Commissioning of the Modern Rice Milling Plant (MRMP) Project

Tuesday (19/10), Waskita's Director of Operation III, Gunadi, continued his working visit to the Modern Rice Milling Plant (MRMP) projects, They are located in three locations, namely in Subang, West Java, Kendal, and Sragen, Central Java.

According to the Project Manager of the EPC Division, Ngesti Widodo, currently, the work progress has reached 72.54%. The Target for the physical completion of the post-harvest infrastructure development for the MRMP is on November 25, 2021, and will continue with the Test Commissioning process until the end of February 2022. Test commissioning is the stage of testing the entire system and the suitability of all parts of the equipment.

MRMP is a rice production site owned by the Logistics Affairs Agency (BULOG) and in each location consists of a dryer with a capacity of 120 tons per day, milling at 6 tons per hour, and storage of 3 silos with the capacity of 2,000 tons. With this MRMP, Bulog can absorb all of the grain harvested by farmers in the area then to be collected and dried by dryers and stored in silos.

MRMP is a national strategic program aimed at maintaining the availability and stabilization of food prices, especially grain/rice at the producer and consumer levels.
