Waskita Launches E-Procurement Application, Proof of Commitment to Carry Out Transformation

PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk continues to be committed to carrying out digital transformation. One of them is by carrying out the Go-Live Application Waskita E-Procurement (We-Proc) which was carried out by the Supply Chain Management Division at the Waskita Heritage Building on September 29, 2022.

The Waskita E-Procurement (We-Proc) application is a procurement application that facilitates Buyers (Waskita) and Partners to carry out digital procurement. Previously, a Soft-Golive was held on March 31 2022 for the launch of the E-Tendering feature, E-Catalogue E-Contract, and these features have been implemented from May – September 2022. On this Go-Live opportunity, new features were launched and old features that have been running are improved. New features launched include the Procurement Dashboard and Mobile App and improvements to the E-Tendering, E-Catalogue, and E-Contract features.

SVP Corporate Secretary of the Company Novianto Ari Nugroho said We-Proc is a form of realization of Waskita's Transformation Program, especially in the field of Digital Procurement which is expected to provide efficiency, transparency, and improve Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at Waskita Karya.

"The implementation of We-Proc certainly requires support from all parties at PT Waskita Karya, starting from the Project, Bussines Unit, and SCM Division, and no less important is Waskita Partners which will also use this application in the procurement process," said Novianto

Waskita has also received the Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Index (INDI 4.0) certificate from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenprin) as a state-owned company that is committed to accelerating Digital Transformation by adopting industrial 4.0 technology and information technology in carrying out its business processes.

"The implementation of INDI 4.0 is believed to be able to accelerate the achievement of the Aspirations of the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap and accelerate the transformation of industry 4.0 in the manufacturing sector. In addition, the implementation of INDI 4.0 aims to make Indonesia one of the ten big countries which have the strongest economy in the world by 2030," concluded Novianto.
