Following up on the results of the TJSL Coordination Meeting (Rakor) in Lampung in early 2022, the SOE TJSL Forum held a TJSL Forum Coordination Meeting as a form of implementation of the shared commitment that had been proclaimed. The event was held on December 15-16 in Banyuwangi, East Java.

This time the Coordination Meeting discusses and focuses on the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program, ESG is part of the development of sustainable finance, which emphasizes the use of analysis of environmental, social, and governance issues in decision-making and investment management. Furthermore, a discussion was also held regarding the socialization of the digital system of the TJSL Forum.

In addition to discussing the ESG program and the TJSL Forum's digital system, several assistance activities were carried out for three priority areas, namely the economic sector in the form of business equipment assistance and MSME shop renovation, the environmental sector in the form of releasing hatchlings and tools for incubators for turtle egg hatching on Cacalan beach, as well as the field of education in the form of infrastructure assistance for 3 Elementary Schools and 2 Madrasahs in the Banyuwangi area.

Present at the event, Assistant Deputy TJSL Ministry of SOEs, Edi Eko Cahyono, Head of the SOE TJSL Forum, Rohan Hafas, Head of Waskita Social and Environmental Responsibility Unit, Poppy Sukmawati.

It is hoped that the implementation of the TJSl Forum Coordination Meeting will become a breakthrough and a concrete form as well as the involvement of SOEs in efforts to build sustainable education for the younger generation, sustainability of the environment, and healthy nature, to advance MSMEs in Indonesia.
