Samarinda, May 24, 2018. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (stock code: WSKT) as the contractor for the construction of the runaway construction of New Samarinda Airport held Soft Opening of APT Pranoto International Airport today.

The construction of the new Samarinda Airport runaway construction is obtained in 2014 with a contract value of Rp 656 billion and is targeted for completion in October 2018. Progress employment up to now is 94% covering runaway, taxiway, and apron. "APT Pranoto Airport will become the center of flight in Kalimantan, especially in pioneer and border areas ".

Diharapkan dengan pembangunan proyek ini akan menjadi pusat penerbangan di Pulau Kalimantan seperti yang disampaikan oleh Direktur Operasi III PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, Fery Hendryanto. “Bandara APT Pranoto akan menjadi pusat penerbangan di Kalimantan, terutama di wilayah perintis maupun perbatasan”.

Also attending the soft opening ceremony was East Kalimantan Governor Awang Faroek Ishak and Director of Operations III of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk Fery Hendryanto, and Head of Division IV PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, Fathor Rachman.
