Until September 2022, Waskita Books New Contracts of IDR 11.58 Trillion

PT Waskita Karya (Persero) managed to record a New Contract Value (NKB) of Rp11.58 trillion until the end of September 2022.

The NKB income came from the Government at 65.36%, Private projects at 11.81%, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) at 10.98%, and Business Development of the Company's Subsidiaries at 11.86 %. Based on the project type segmentation, the NKB consists of the Infrastructure connectivity segment at 67.02%, building at 8.01%, EPC at 3.80%, Water Resources (SDA) at 7.96%, Subsidiaries at 11.86%, and other civil projects at 1.35%.

The Corporate Secretary, Novianto Ari Nugroho explained that some of the projects with the largest contribution as of September 2022 were the IKN Toll Road Project for the Simpang Tempadung Segment – Balang Island Bridge worth IDR 990 billion, the IKN Work/Logistics Development Package (KIPP) for the Speaker Ring Segment 4 Development Package worth IDR 182. Billion, Construction of CMU3 Building RSCM Jakarta of Rp. 252 Billion, Civil Works Mining Area in NTB of Rp. 262 Billion.

"In addition to achieving the NKB, as of September 2022, the Company is still participating in project tenders with a value of up to IDR 20 trillion sourced from the Government, BUMN, and the private sector. With participation in the IKN project and supported by a winning rate of 26.67% during 9M22, the Company is more optimistic that the NKB achievement will be in line with the set target of Rp. 20 - 30 trillion this year," said Novianto.

Novianto also added that the completion of toll roads can also improve operational and financial performance, this can facilitate the strategic partnership process so that investors are willing to cooperate in accelerating infrastructure development.
