Semarang, June 7, 2018. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (stock code: WSKT) as the contractor for the construction of Terminal & Supporting Facilities Building (Package III) Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang held the inauguration of Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang, Central Java by the President of Republic Indonesia Joko Widodo. This project is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN).

"Like the airport that also carries the concept of eco airport or eco-friendly airport, the construction of this terminal is also said to use environmentally friendly materials to the provision of water with Reverse osmosis technology. In addition, this project is the work of the nation's children from the synergy between Waskita and Angkasa Pura I ", explained President Director of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, I Gusti Ngurah Putra.

For information, Terminal Building Project & Supporting Facilities (Paket III) Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang obtained Waskita in 2017 with a contract value of Rp 845.6 billion. The progress of Waskita's work up to now has reached 100% covering the work of Terminal Building, Structural Work, Architectural Works, Interior Works, Mechanical Works, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), Electronic Works Airport and Genset Homework.

Also present to accompany President Jokowi in this inauguration ceremony include State Minister for State Owned Enterprises (SOE) Rini Soemarno, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Plt. Central Java Governor Heru Sudjatmoko, President Director of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk I Gusti Ngurah Putra, Director of Operations I PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk Didit Oemar Prihadi and President Director PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Faik Fahmi.
