In celebrating the 62nd anniversary (HUT) of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, which has the stock code WSKT, the Ministry of Industry named the Company as a pilot industry 4.0 company in the construction sector. This award was directly given to the Company by the Head of the Industrial Service Standardization and Policy Agency of the Ministry of Industry, Doddy Rahadi, to the President Director of the Company, Destiawan Soewardjono, who was accompanied by the Director of Human Capital Management & System Development of the Company, Mursyid.
In his remarks, Doddy Rahadi explained that based on the results of the INDI 4.0 assessment at PT Waskita Karya which had been carried out by the SOE INDI 4.0 Assessment Implementing Agency in 2021, the INDI 4.0 score was from 0 to 4, Waskita Karya was at level 3. INDI itself is Indonesia's Industry 4.0 Readiness Index
This means Waskita Karya is at the ripe readiness stage to transform into Industry 4.0. Two, based on the results of an assessment by a team of panelists consisting of government, practitioners, and universities conducted from July to October 2022 with an assessment, especially on the impact of the implementation of Industry 4.0 transformation on business," said Doddy Rahadi.
"Based on the results of presentations and discussions with the team, Waskita Karya, as well as direct visits to the project site, the panelist team assessed that Waskita Karya has met the criteria as an industry 4.0 pilot company in the construction sector," continued Doddy Rahadi.
Doddy added, Waskita had also carried out several business transformation initiatives and innovations where one of the pillars was digital. The award certificate was then handed over by Doddy to Destiawan.
Meanwhile, Mursyid said that Waskita's transformation in the digitalization sector would further develop the Company's business. Not only domestically but also abroad. "Thank God Waskita was able to get this award. This is the result of the hard work of all Waskita people everywhere. We have to defend and we have to be an example for other SOEs," said Mursyid.
The series of the Company's 62nd anniversary has been held since last December 2022. Starting from blood donation activities, then providing scholarship assistance to the children of underprivileged employees, to fun bikes and cheerful gymnastics.
