Waskita's Support for the G20 Summit, Here Are the Completed Projects

PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is also supporting the preparations for the G20 Presidency Summit in Bali on 15-16 November 2022. Because of this, Waskita has completed some infrastructure projects to support this international-scale event.

The Company's SVP Corporate Secretary PT Waskita Karya Novianto Ari Nugroho stated that to support the implementation of the G20 Summit, had ensured the completion of the road arrangement work for the Sligita-Kempinsky Intersection and the Mangrove Showcase in Nusa Dua, Bali.

"We have ensured that the location around the event area is tidy, besides we have carried out massive greening so that the location looks more environmentally friendly," he said.

The arrangement of roads and areas is carried out to provide smoothness, safety, and security, as well as convenience for delegates to the G20 presidential conference in Bali. For information, in the project work in Bali, the Company is working on the arrangement of pedestrians, canals, green zones, and utility ducting.

Apart from that, Waskita also preserved or maintained the Sawangan 1 Bridge, Sawangan 2 Bridge, Sawangan 3 Bridge, then widened the road at the Peminge Intersection, overlaid the AC-WC, made a limousine parking lot with an area of 1.7 Ha, and street furniture.

siap menyambut para tamu KTT G20,” ucap Novianto.

Novianto admitted that the Company is very proud to have the opportunity to provide support for this event which is of global concern.

"We hope that the completion of this arrangement work can bring Indonesia's good name in the eyes of the world that the Government is ready to carry out the G20 Presidency event. And all of these areas can also continue to support the economy for tourism in Bali and Jakarta," concluded Novianto.
