Led by Prescom Badrodin Haiti, BOC Waskita Makes Virtual Visit to Subang MRMP Project

The Board of Commissioners of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk made a virtual visit to the Modern Rice Milling Plant (MRMP) project in Subang, West Java, on Tuesday (2/11) yesterday. The virtual visit was led directly by President Commissioner Badrodin Haiti, who was accompanied by Commissioner Dedi Syarif Usman, Commissioner T Iskandar, Independent Commissioner Bambang Setyo Wahyudi, and Independent Commissioner Muradi. In addition, the Company's Director of Operation III Gunadi also accompanied the virtual visit.

The virtual visit which was guided by MRMP Project Manager Ngesti Widodo lasted for 2 hours from 13.00 – 15.00 WIB. The MRMP built by the Company is targeted for The Completion of infrastructure development by the end of February 2022. Currently, the progress has reached 72.77%. It was informed that the Target for the physical Completion of this project is on November 25th, 2021, and will continue at the test commissioning stage until February 24th , 2022.

Test commissioning is a stage that tests the entire system of the fleet and the feasibility of all parts. According to information obtained by the Intranet Team, MRMP is a rice production site owned by Perum Bulog, and there are a dryer with a capacity of 120 tons per day, milling with a capacity of 6 tons per hour, and storage of 3 silos units with a capacity of 2,000 tons in each location With this MRMP, Bulog can absorb all of the grain harvested by farmers in the area, then it is collected and dried by dryers and stored in silos.

The MRMP Factory Project is a Government program in strengthening national food security that will be built to develop post-harvest technology from ordinary rice to premium rice so that it will add better value. MRMP is an EPC project based on the business transformation process to make EPC Company becomes the first EPC Company in Indonesia.

MRMP is a national strategic program aimed at maintaining the availability and stabilization of food prices, especially grain/rice at the producer and consumer levels. The Subang MRMP, Kendal MRMP, and Sragen MRMP were held from September 14, 2020, to November 25, 2021, and the maintenance period is 360 calendar days.
