code: WSKT. President Joko Widodo today visited one of the
projects carried out by the Company in the Capital City of the
Archipelago (IKN), namely the Building and Office Area
Development Project for the Coordinating Ministry Package 4.
Jokowi's visit was accompanied
by SOE Minister Erick Thohir,
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Head of Authority IKN Bambang
Susantono, and Deputy Head of IKN Authority Dhony Rahajoe and
others were welcomed directly by the President Director of the
Company Destiawan Soewardjono.
According to Destiawan, after assisting Jokowi, the President provided many inputs. One of them must be built by paying attention to the environment and the results are quality and different. Not only that, the President asked that there be characteristics of the buildings in the IKN.
“This development must pay attention to the environment. For example, trees are planted a maximum of 1 meter from the building area. Because growing this tree, according to the President, is very long. Then he asked that the buildings produced were also of high quality and different," said Destiawan Soewardjono.
It is also hoped that, with the characteristics of buildings, quality buildings, and quality environment, many investors will be interested in investing in IKN. Earlier, Destiawan added, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said that the President is the project leader at IKN while the PUPR Minister is the executor.
"The company is ready to carry out the IKN project according to the target set by the President and the PUPR Ministry to realize the Future Smart Forest City on time and with high quality," said Destiawan Soewardjono.
The IKN project achieved by the Company has a total contract value of IDR 5.92 trillion. The acquisition of the new IKN contract value is following the Company's target where the average winning rate for Waskita is at the level of 25% by participating in the IKN project auction of IDR 23.7 trillion in 2022.
In this IKN project, the Company also cooperates with other companies. To note, Waskita at IKN won 6 project tenders including the IKN Segment Sp. Toll Road Project. TempadungBalang Island Bridge of Rp. 2.2 trillion, the Sepaku Ring Road Segment 4 Development Project of Rp. 181 billion, the Presidential Secretariat Building Project of Rp. 1.3 trillion, the Coordinating Ministry Building and Office Area Projects 3 & 4 of Rp. 1.53 trillion, and the IPAL 1, 2, 3 KIPP Development Project amounting to IDR 638 billion.
