Waskita's commitment to helping the government mitigate the impact of the pandemic that occurred in Indonesia continues. Today (30/9), symbolically Waskita Peduli again assists in handling the COVID-19 pandemic, in collaboration with the Kafegama MM UGM Foundation, distributing assistance in the form of necessities as much as possible will use products purchased directly from farmers & MSMEs. With the hope that this activity can provide direct benefits for many parties, name beneficiaries, and support the Products of farmers & MSMEs.

The Purpose of this Program is to help people who are directly affected by the economy, namely street vendors, city transportation drivers, daily workers, especially in big cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Yogjakarta, and Bali. "It is hoped that with this assistance, it can help the community to alleviate the basic needs of the community amid the Covid-19 pandemic," said Poppy Sukmawati, Head of Waskita's Social & Environment Responsibility Unit.

The target number of food packages to be distributed is 1000 (one thousand) packages, and 500 Packages will be distributed in Jakarta and surrounding areas and 500 Packages in Three other cities.
